Agriculture
Agriculture University, Kota is an agricultural university situated in Kota, Rajasthan, India. It was established in 2013 by the Government of Rajasthan under the Agriculture University, Kota Act, 2013, by bifurcating Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology and Swami Keshwanand Rajasthan Agricultural University. Its jurisdiction covers six districts, namely Kota, Baran, Bundi, Jhalawar, Karauli, and Sawai Madhopur. Dinesh Chandra Joshi was appointed vice chancellor in 2019.
The
university includes two colleges, College of Horticulture and Forestry,
Jhalawar, and College of Agriculture, Ummedganj, Kota

Admission
Students have to pass the jet examination for admission to this college. Forms are available online on the site of jet. Students with reservations have fewer fees. Exams are normal level if studied well.
The entrance
exam name JET must qualify for admission. The minimum age for admission is 16
years old. And 12th must pass out a valid board like RBSE, CBSE, and other
states. In the admission process, the quota for all Rajasthan domicile
students is 75 % and 25%. A student comes out of state. Students must pass out
12 in the science stream. The university campus is very eco-friendly, and all the staff are
very nice.
