CBSE Courses, Dates, Exam Centers

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), which was created in 1929 and is overseen by the Indian government, is the national level board of education for both public and private schools. The CBSE is associated with 26,054 schools in India and around 240 institutions in 28 international countries. Every year, the board administers CBSE Class 12 exams to pupils in pen and paper format. Candidates who pass their Class 11 exams from any recognised board of education and enroll in Class 12 for a year will be eligible to take the CBSE 12th board examinations. To enroll for these tests, students must pay the examination costs.

Furthermore, the Board has decided to split the CBSE board exams into two semesters for the academic year 2021-22.

The CBSE is a national educational organisation that oversees both public and private schools and is directly controlled by the Indian government. Every year, the CBSE conducts national board examinations for students in grades 10 and 12.

Eligibility Criteria (by class):

  • CBSE Admissions Until Class VIII- Admissions will be done in accordance with the laws and regulations set forth by the state or union territory governments where the institution is located.
  • CBSE Class IX Admissions- To be admitted to Class IX, a student must have completed his or her regular studies in Class VIII. Only students who were enrolled in a state-affiliated, UT-affiliated, or other certified board-affiliated institution will be considered for admission.
  • Admissions to CBSE Class X- Students must have completed class IX from a recognised board in order to be considered for admissions to CBSE Class X. The qualifying marks in the comparable examination are also required for admission. Furthermore, transferred students should have TC and should be able to own their complete documents.
  • CBSE Class XI Admissions- Students who have completed class X from a recognised state board or institution are eligible to take the test. This section gives you the option of selecting your preferred stream. However, in order to be eligible for the preferred stream, you must get the minimal score.
  • Admissions to CBSE Class XII- No direct admissions to CBSE Class XII will be available. Students must have graduated from the same institute in class XI. Students who have transferred from other schools or cities may be admitted under specific conditions. In addition, the student must have received a recognised equivalent qualification.

Application Process:

The Central Board of Secondary Education has an application process that students in grades 9 and 11 must complete in order to be eligible for board examinations. Only pupils who have formally enrolled will be permitted to take the tenth and twelveth grade board examinations.

Regular candidates must register through their individual schools, whilst private candidates must register online through the official website. The deadline to register is December 30, 2021.

All students, as well as linked schools, are encouraged to register and complete the registration form before the deadline. For Class 9 and Class 11, the registration cost is Rs 300/-. Before registering, private students should double-check their eligibility.

Exam Pattern:

  • In class 12, there are five topics in all, including one obligatory language paper, English.
  • Students can optionally take six topics, however this is not required.
  • Students who fail three or more topics are required to take a compartment test.
  • Students who fail three compartments or two or more tests must redo all of their studies the following year.
  • Every four-mark paper now includes a new style of question called VALUE-BASED QUESTIONS.
  • Theoretical: This covers the Board examinations, which cover the complete XII curriculum. A nine-point grading system is used to give marks and grades. Each academic topic will receive a grade.
  • Internal Assessment: Each subject’s specifics are included in the syllabus.
  • Co-Scholastic Areas Evaluation: The responsible instructor will compile an objective evaluation based on a student’s level of performance/participation during the academic year and issue grades accordingly.

Admit Card:

  • CBSE admit card 2022 for Class 10th and 12th for term 2 will be released in February 2022.

Check Results:

  • Visit the official websites — cbse.gov.in, cbseresults.nic.in.
  • Click on CBSE Class 10, 12 Term 1 Result 2021.
  • You will be redirected to a login page.
  • Enter the required credentials like roll number.
  • After successful login, the CBSE 10th, 12th.
  • Result 2021 will be displayed on the screen.

Re-Checking:

The findings of the revaluation and rechecking will be released tentatively in July 2022. To view the results, candidates must input their board roll number, admission card id, school number, and centre number. The total marks may be decreased throughout the revaluation process, and no requests for reduced marks will be considered. The following are the steps to verify the outcome:

  • Visit the official website- cbseresults.nic.in
  • Click on ‘CBSE 12th Updated Result after Revaluation, result later and combined result, for compartment candidates’
  • Enter the roll number, reg id, admit card id, center and school number
  • Click on submit
  • The result will be displayed on the screen.
  • Download the result for all future reference.

Re-appear:

Students who are dissatisfied with their results in the CBSE 12th test can request improvements in particular subjects. The application form for the same may be filled out provisionally in the months of July and August of 2022. The CBSE Board will tentatively announce the results in the final week of September 2022. Since the 2021-22 session, CBSE has enabled applicants to take the improvement test in the same year as the current session. When calculating the final scorecard, the best score from the Improvement and Board exams will be used.
