To give BArch admissions to all qualified applicants, Anna University will hold the Tamil Nadu Aptitude Test in Architecture (TANATA) 2022. It should be noted that the admissions procedure is only open for vacant/lapsed BArch degree seats that fall within the Management and Government Quotas. The authorities will issue the TANATA 2022 application form in an online format on the official website. To take part in the entrance examination, students must submit the application form before the deadline. TANATA 2022 will be a pen-and-paper test, with applicants who achieve the requisite scores being considered for admission.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidates must have received a minimum of 50% in a 12th-grade or comparable test in which Mathematics was one among the subjects.
  • A 10+3 Diploma (any stream) approved by the Central/State Government with 50 percent aggregate marks in Mathematics is required.
  • After ten years of schooling, have an International Baccalaureate Diploma with a minimum of 50% in aggregate and Mathematics as a required subject of assessment.
  • The TANATA 2021 results will only be valid for the academic year 2021-22.

2022 Exam Dates:

Anna University administers the Tamil Nadu Aptitude Test in Architecture for admission to B. Arch programmes. This test is held once a year at the state level. The online enrollment process is planned to begin in October 2022.

Application Form 2022:

  • For online registration, applicants must provide their email address, name, gender, and phone number. Candidates will be provided their login ID and password when the registration procedure is finished.
  • They will need to log in using their user id and password to complete the form. They must also complete other sections of the application form, such as personal, educational, and communication information.
  • Applicants must provide scanned images of their photographs and signatures in the format specified ( JPEG or JPG).
  • The form will be deemed completed if the fee is not paid.
  • Applicants will be required to review the application form after paying the cost, and then they will be able to submit it online.

Exam 2022: What’s New?

The entrance exam will be administered as a written examination using pen and paper in an offline format. Test Time Limit: Applicants will have three hours to finish the whole question paper for the entrance exam.

Exam Reservation:

There are no specific considerations in NATA; nonetheless, throughout the admissions procedure, candidates must provide the following qualifications and documentation. In 2022, a candidate must have passed a recognized Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA or similar).

The first session will be released in April 2022. Candidates can access the answer key on the internet. The Council of Architecture regulates NATA, which is a national-level admission exam (COA).
