The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad is a state educational body in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The UP board, officially known as the Board of High School and Intermediate Education Uttar Pradesh (BHSIEUP), is in charge of administering annual exams for Class 10 (Secondary) and Class 12 (Intermediate).

Every year, pariksha exams for classes 12 and 10 are held at various test centres around the state. Almost 35 lakh students take the Uttar Pradesh High School (10th) examinations, while over 30 lakh take the Uttar Pradesh 12th exams. The UPMSP is responsible for awarding school recognition and prescribing curricula and texts for affiliated schools in addition to administering Class 10 and 12 examinations.

Every year UPMSP conducts national board examinations for students in all grades.

Eligibility Criteria (by class):

  • In the Class 10th Board exams, students must get a minimum score of 33 percent.
  • The Hindi paper must be completed by the students.
  • The Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) pattern will be used for the UP Board Class 10 evaluation.
  • If a student fails to pass only one subject other than Hindi in the UP Board Class 10 final test, he or she would be awarded a pass.
  • Same process for the class 12th.
  • The candidate must be registered in a school that is associated with the UP Board for Class 12th.
  • Throughout the academic year, the candidate must have maintained the requisite attendance.
  • He or she must have completed and submitted the UP Board Class 12th registration form along with all relevant papers and registration fees.
  • All current academic year dues must be paid in full by the candidate.
  • Candidates who have got their admit card and whose application has been accepted by the board will be permitted to sit the UP Board Class 12th test.

Application Process:

  • Students were required to register with their respective schools.
  • The registration forms may be downloaded at upmsp.edu.in, the official website.
  • Students in the 12th grade in the UP Board can obtain a physical copy of the registration form and submit it to their individual schools.
  • The candidate’s information from the registration form will be printed on the admission card.
  • Along with the registration form, students were needed to submit a specific number of registration fees.

Syllabus:

To align with the CBSE board, the Secondary Education Council of the Uttar Pradesh board has opted to adopt NCERT books since 2018. All of the textbooks for all of the classes and disciplines were replaced, and the curriculum was revised.

Exam Pattern:

Science, Maths, English, Hindi, and Social Science are the five obligatory topics in the Board of High School and Intermediate Education Uttar Pradesh (BHSIEUP) Class 10 pariksha. Students are allocated courses based on their preferences in the intermediate Class 12 test.

The question format in the UP board’s Class 10th and Class 12th exams contains MCQ type questions, very short answer questions, short answer questions, and lengthy answer questions. Exam Time Table:

In the month of February, the UPMSP Madhyamik Pariksha or Class 10 test and the UPMSP Class 12 Inter exam are both held. Class 10 examinations are usually held over a two-week period, whereas Class 12 exams are held over a five-week period.

Upmsp.edu.in is the official website. Then, under ‘Important Information Download,’ click on the Class 12 Admit Card link. Log in with your user ID and password, then fill out the form. On the screen, the Admit Cards will show.

Check Results:

2022 UP Board The results for class 12th will be announced provisionally in June 2022 on the UP Board’s official website, upmsp.edu.in. Candidates can verify their test results by entering their board roll number and the year they took the exam. Students may verify their UP Board class 12th result by following the instructions below:

  • Log onto the official website i.e. upmsp.edu.in.
  • Click on the link “Parikshafal kaksha 12th 2022”.
  • You will be redirected to the Intermediate (Class XII) Examinations results portal.
  • Enter your 7-digit Roll number and School Code.
  • Results will appear on the screen.
  • Download and save it for future reference.
