The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education, or West Bengal Board, is a self-governing educational institution. It was founded in 1951. Board Programme:
The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) was created by the state government of West Bengal to ease the holding of standard 10 examinations for all West Bengal Board-affiliated schools located throughout the state. The standard 10 examinations, also known as the Madhyamik Pariksha, are usually held in the month of February and the results are announced in June.

Eligibility Criteria (by class):
- On March 1, 2022, a pupil must be 15 or 16 years old.
- He or she should have passed the 9th grade exam with flying colours.
- For the West Bengal Madhyamik Examination, a student must meet the attendance requirements.
Application Process:
- The application process for the WBBSE 10th Class board is done in an offline mode.
- Students who will be taking the WB 10th examinations in 2022 must fill out application forms at their respective schools.
- They must attach the needed papers and submit them, along with the required application costs, to their respective institutions.

Documents Required:
The Head of the Institution must attest a copy of the Registration Certificate, Admit Card, Marksheet, and Pass Certificate. Certificate of Registration of Birth. If the original Birth Registration Certificate is not available, a copy of the Admission Register duly certified by the A.I.
Syllabus:
At the start of each academic year, the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) publishes the West Bengal 10th syllabus on its official website. Students studying for exams should look over the whole syllabus to ensure that they are aware of all of the chapters and subjects that will be addressed. Due to the COVID19 epidemic, the Board has decided to decrease the WB 10th Syllabus by 35% for the academic year 2021-22.
Exam Pattern:
Exams for the 10th grade in West Bengal last 3 hours and 15 minutes. The first 15 minutes of class are set aside for pupils to read. According to the WB Class 10 Exam Pattern, a student must get a minimum of 34% in order to pass the exams.
Preparation Tips:

Admit Card:
- The West Bengal Board will issue the 10th WB admit card 2022 via the internet. Around 2-3 weeks before the examinations, West Bengal Madhyamik admission cards 2022 will be given.
- By entering your individual school login ID and password, students may get their WB Class 10 admission cards 2022. Otherwise, students can obtain the information from the appropriate school authorities.
- Students must bring their hall passes to the exam centre on exam day since they will not be permitted to enter the exam hall without them.

Re-Checking:
The WBBSE board also allows for re-evaluation of the WB board 10th outcome in 2022. Students who are unhappy with their grades can request a re-evaluation of their WB Madhyamik result 2022. They must apply via their individual schools for this. Students must complete the re-evaluation application form and submit it to their respective school authorities, together with the needed money, before the deadline, which will be announced after the WB 10th result is released.In the middle of June 2022, the re-evaluated results will be released.
Re-appear:
Following the publication of the West Bengal 10th result 2022, some students may be unable to pass one or two courses. These pupils are given a second and last chance to take the test. They can sit for a compartment exam and save a year of schooling.
Students must apply for compartment exams through their local schools by filling out an application form. They must send the completed form, together with the required money, to the appropriate school authorities.
Compartment examinations are planned to take place in July 2022, and compartment exam results will be revealed in August 2022, provisionally.
