A Diploma in Education is a certificate-level teacher training program that assists students in becoming elementary school teachers, particularly in government institutions. Course Eligibility:
Candidates who are interested in pursuing a D.Ed degree must meet certain requirements in order to be considered for admission to one of the many colleges that offer this programme. The following are the D.Ed course eligibility requirements:
- Candidates must have received a passing grade in class 12 in any subject from a recognised board.
- Candidates must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 50%.
- It should be noted that the qualifying standards for each institute to which an applicant has applied for admission may change somewhat.
Admission Process:
- Aspiring applicants who satisfy all of the requirements for D.Ed admission must fill out all of the required information, upload the required documents, and submit an application form to the college/university of their choice.
- A merit list for D.Ed admission will be generated by the college/university based on the merit of the qualifying test, which is 10+2.
- Aspirants will be shortlisted based on their performance on the merit list, and they will be expected to engage in the counselling process if the institute/university requires it as part of the admission process.
- The last stage of the admissions procedure is document verification and fee payment at the institute/university level. Only once the fee has been paid and the documentation has been checked is admission confirmed.
- Ed admission entrance test can be conducted at the state level, university level or at the institute level.

How to Apply?
The fundamental eligibility conditions for the Diploma course are that the candidate must have completed their 12th grade in any subject, as well as a graduation or post-graduate degree from a recognized institution. If a student meets the minimal criteria of 50 percent weighted marks, he or she is eligible for admission to the D. ED program. Students must be applied for online or offline methods.
Documents Requirement:
- A copy of his/her Online Application Form as well as his/her Letter of Allotment.
- Attested photocopy of 10+2/Sr.Secondary school certificate issued by Haryana Bhiwani Board of School Education or equivalent.
- As documented evidence of age and subject passing Hindi/Sanskrit, and attestation photocopy of the secondary certificate is required.
- Only the appropriate authority, such as the Deputy Commissioner/ City Magistrate/ Sub Divisional Officer (civil)/ Tehsildar/ Naib Tehsildar/ Head of the Department, can provide an attested copy of a certificate for the reserved category of Haryana residents.
- Attested photocopies of Secondary/High School certificates with Urdu as one subject provided by the Board are required for candidates seeking admission to D.El.Ed (Urdu).
- Attested copy of the certificate of good behavior issued by the principal of the most recent institution attended or any Haryana State Gazetted Officer.
