PhD(Doctor of Philosophy) In program shall be based on the candidate marks obtained in the entrance test conducted by the respective department of school of the particular or each university or college. Those candidates who have completed their GATE or NET/SET/ M.Phil Examination in the pertinent subjects of the apex bodies as CSIR/UGC/ICAR/ICMR/DBT will be disowned from the Entrance Test. While giving the exemptions, the Departmental Committee of the university may be considered research work or earlier P.h.D. (Doctor of Philosophy) or experience done by the candidate. If a candidate already holds a Doctor of degree in the relevant subjects from a UGC Approved Universities or Colleges, he or she may be exempted from entrance exam and pre P.h.D. (Doctor of Philosophy) coursework. After clearing both steps the candidate will be eligible to pay the course fee or registration fee. Only the predetermined number of candidates may be admitted to the PhD(Doctor of Philosophy) program of Ayurveda.
